I am not a rabbi.
I am not even a ḥazzan or a shoḥeṭ. 🙂
I’m definitely not very learned or pious and I didn’t grow up in an Orthodox home.
But over the decades I’ve learned a lot and I’ve practiced a lot.
I’ve been blessed with a variety of intelligent and interesting teachers who imparted to me the important knowledge they held… as well as the tools necessary to dive deep into our Torah tradition on my own and find answers for myself.
I don’t claim that the beliefs and opinions described here are entirely uncontroversial, let alone mainstream…
I won’t tell you that any and every rabbi you ask will agree with the perspectives and proposals offered here…
But I promise you…
Everything you will read here is what I personally believe and practice – all parts of a rich, deep, and satisfying approach to Judaism.
And if you’re looking for a treasure trove of sources and suggestions to enrich YOUR Judaism… you’ve come to the right place.
